Uniform

Children are expected to wear school uniform as we believe it shares the positive values that are part of the school ethos and helps children to feel part of the school.

Our school uniform colours are green, white and grey:

Ø Vaynor Green sweatshirt or cardigan

Ø Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore

Ø White polo-shirt or shirt

Ø Green and white summer dress (optional)

Ø School shoes; no trainers or open-toed summer sandals

For PE lessons your child will need:

Ø Black shorts

Ø Green round neck t-shirt

Ø Trainers - these must have velcro straps if children cannot tie laces

Ø Black pumps - for indoor activities if desired

Ø Tracksuit Black or Grey may be used in the winter months

Your child’s PE kit is kept on their peg in a pump bag.

Children also require an apron to protect their clothes during art and design activities; this could be an old shirt with the cuffs cut off and elastic in the waist. A book bag is required to be brought to school daily.

In Reception a pair of wellies are also required.

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled

Obtaining your school uniform

All branded uniform and other school items can be ordered from the following provider. Our local stockists are Orchard Clothing at 6-8 Dunlop Road, Hunt End, Redditch, B97 5XP. Tel. 01527 545555.

It is not essential that your child's school uniform has the school logo. You can purchase non-branded uniform from other retailers, but it should be in the school colours.

We also have in school a selection of pre-loved uniform available should you need it.

Jewellery

The only jewellery to be worn in school is a watch and studs in pierced ears. No other jewellery must be worn in school due to the danger of accident or loss. If stud earrings are worn, it will be necessary for the child to remove them prior to PE or swimming lessons. If a child is unable to remove their earrings, please provide them with plasters/micropore tape to cover their earrings during the activity.

No other valuable items should be brought into school.
