Welcome to Year 2!

The classes within our Year Group this year are: Miss Phipps 2HP, Miss Robbins 2HR and 2CG with Miss Goddard.

Hello, and welcome to Year 2! We are the second year group in Key Stage One. As with the other year groups, life in Year 2 is extremely busy, where we are always on the go and learning lots of new skills. It is a great place to be!

WELCOME TO THE SPRING TERM!

We are all very excited about being back after our Christmas break, and our topic for Spring 2026 is:

All Aboard!

We will be starting our journey by learning about a significant person, George Stephenson and his role in the advancements of transport in the Victorian era. This will link to our Autumn learning our Victorian Childhood for rich and poor children. We will also explore different modes of transport during this era and how it changed over time. All of this learning will help us to understand how the changes in transport affected lives of those living during the Victorian Time Period.
