Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on 26th April 2016. This was the first inspection since our conversion to academy status in April 2012. We are delighted that our school continues to provide a good quality of education for all of our pupils and our safeguarding of pupils is effective.
We are proud that the standards achieved by our pupils were highlighted in the report as being: above the national figure at the end of Reception; significantly above the national average in Year 2; with good progress being maintained until they leave us at the end of Year 4. In addition, the Leadership Team were praised for its detailed examination and analysis of pupils’ progress to ensure standards.
The report also acknowledged the strength of the leadership team, including the Governing Body, who know the school well and provide an ethos where there is a clear commitment to ensuring pupils achieve well and become self-assured individuals.
