Komal Joshi

Hi, I'm Komal and joined the Vaynor in September 2014. This year I am working in and leading the Year 4 team.

Class 4ST

Sophie Thomas

Hello, I’m Sophie and I moved from Wales to teach at the Vaynor in May 2014.  I live in Stratford-Upon-Avon with my lovely son and we love to watch films, one of our favourites at the moment is The Lego Movie.

In the classroom, I love using ICT to get the children excited and using a variety of apps to enhance their learning. I am pleased to take on the role of Computing co-ordinator across the school fully this year and share my experiences of using technology in the classroom.

I really enjoy working with such a friendly and hard-working team and I'm looking forward to being in Year 4 this year.

Class 4EO

Toni Oakley

Hello, I'm Toni Sinclair! This is my fifth year at The Vaynor after graduating from Worcester University.  I love being imaginative with learning, allowing the children to be creative within all areas of the curriculum. My classroom will always lively and fun, bringing the children's learning to life.

I am the Science co-ordinator and I am passionate about children discovering their world in their own way. I am proud to have led our school in achieving the Primary Science Gold Award in 2015.

In my spare time I like socialising with friends, shopping and going on long walks with my dog Coco.

Please feel free to pop in for a chat anytime.

Katie Ebbs

I have been here at The Vaynor since January 2009, teaching in both Year 3 and Year 4. I am the Subject Co-ordinator for both DT and MFL. I grew up in Redditch but currently live in Worcester with my husband and our daughter Emma, and our two cats (Poppy & Oscar). I still have lots of family and friends living in Redditch.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking  and decorating novelty cakes, something I have been able to share with the children in our after school clubs. To relax I like to attend dance fitness classes at the gym, go walking in the countryside (especially in Scotland) or curling up in front of the fire with a good book!
