Class 2AF

Amy Finch
Assistant Head

Hello I am Amy Finch and I joined The Vaynor First School in September 2009, after moving from a school in Shropshire, where I am originally from. I believe that learning should be exciting and creative for children, so I always try to make my classroom a fun and energetic place to be! I have worked throughout Key Stage 1 since being at the school, with this year finding me in Year 2. Aswell as a class teacher, I am the Assistant Headteacher where I am Team Leader for Key Stage One, so oversee and work closely with all of the Year 1 and 2 staff and children.

Out of school I enjoy reading, shopping and socialising with my friends and family.

It is a pleasure to work within such a friendly, hardworking and forward-thinking school; my first years here have been superb and I hope to enjoy many, many more!
